Consider this more of a walk with some historical signposts rather than a destination. There are the ruins of a church that are worth exploring, but other than the church and the graveyard it is mostly open fields with some foundation stones. Overall the trip was enjoyable, but a local walk closer to home might save time in the car.
Great walk, lots to see and do, plenty of views and not too long for kids, would recommend to anyone on a walk.
