A favorite wedding venue for local couples, Leeds Castle is widely regarded as one of England’s most romantic locations. A castle has been on this site since 1119, eventually coming into the hands of King Edward I, for whom it became a beloved home. Henry VIII used it in the 16th century, making it an official residence for his first wife, Catherine of Aragon. Today, the castle is a major attraction, including a maze, grotto, golf course, and what may be the world’s only museum of dog collars. Tickets are valid for a whole year, so you can visit the castle as many times as you wish. Skip the long line by booking online. Really enjoyed the tour of the castle, good history from the docent. Wandering the beautiful grounds was lovely, such a treasure! more »
Spent the day out here. Enjoyed wandering through the grounds feeding all the water birds. We'd taken our I-Spy birds book so managed to mark off quite a few more which our 11 Year old Nephew enjoyed.... more »

The beauty of the Park, superbly maintained overwhelmed us before letting us discover the beautiful castle. The fact that it is still furnished facilitates the return in the past. The teenagers enjoyed this visit. Unfortunately we could not visit the maze (time pimp and they close at 4 pm). Souvenir shops found on the site (a little expensive for my taste). One of the best preserved castle in the area. Big park and garden. Magnificent lake in front of the castle make it unique. Lots of fun and activities for children. I love the fireworks nights over Gay Folks night. Perfect for family day out.
A wonderful Place to visit. the castle is set in well kept grounds with plenty of amazing views, the castle is a must see attraction for any one in the area that is interested in history. The food in the restaurant is great value and a wide selection of options. Would highly recommend a visit to anyone looking for somewhere to explore and walk. The birds of prey show located in the grounds is a must see for anyone visiting.
Really a very good outdoors venue for the family, plenty of places to stop and picnic, and a specific play area for young children. Various activities going on a different times of the year. Can get very busy though especially parking but your ticket lasts a year so you can come back for free any time during that year! Not quite so much to do on a bad weather day!
A great site with a variety of things to do that should keep the children entertained. Beautiful surroundings, ideal for a picnic. It's quite pricey but the ticket includes access for the whole year. Probably best to make a second trip to make it worth it - don't lose your ticket!
Beautiful place to visit, interesting history, including more recent history. Lovely grounds. We didn't have time to check out the maze but our guide says it is fun, if a little difficult. We did purchase some of the spiced Mead, it was delicious!
