  • This is a great place to take kids. A lovely play area, with other bits and pieces dotted around, and a really nice woodland walk. Also lots of open space for picnics. We didn't make it to the old zoo...  more »

  • We joined the queue for food today at 130 and finally made it to the till at 220 only to be told that the person in front of me was the last to be served hot food. I complained and then was begrudgingly told that I would be the last and my order and money were taken. The rest of the queue were furious. We waited outside for a further hour at which point I returned to the till and enquired as to were my food was only to be told once again that no hot food was being served and all they would offer was a refund for the order I had a receipt for. Absolutely disgusting customer service. May I suggest that during school holidays you employ extra staff and at the very least you could have gone down the queue at the relevant point to tell people that no more food was being served to save wasting everyone's time.
  • Lovey park with walks and play parks that have something for all ages. Cafe recently renovated but service is slow when busy.
  • Lovely park and delightful surroundings. The play area is great for young children and very well planned. The new cafe is a wonderful addition.
  • Very good safe park , the cafe serves very good food . I was very impressed when my grandson ordered chicken nuggets and these very large pieces of chicken were served , not pre ground but good quality chicken . there are lots of things for children to do in the holiday , everybody is helpful and pleasant .
  • A great park fantastic for walking and for the kids also has a great cafe.
