  • For a relatively small place this holds many treasures. You've got the guinea pig and bird cages, great views of the Thames and the nearby weir, and an assortment of play equipment. There are large numbers of benches overlooking the river and suitable toilet facilities. Can get busy during the weekends and the summer, especially the hot food and ice cream stalls, but peaceful and quiet during the week. Open from 7am each day and the best parking is a few minutes walk up the road. I recommend carrying on your walk further up the Thames towards Cookham too.
  • Something a little different to do, or take the young ones to feed the ducks. There are squirrels running around, and some aviaries with tropical birds. And a small outdoor cafĂ© with real Italian ice cream.
  • A bit of a hidden gem on the Thames. This lovely little park is reached via a bridge with plentiful parking opposite. Featuring a nice little cafe with good snacks, drinks and ice cream. A great place to bring the family for an afternoon out, and at the end if a nice Thames Pathway walk if you wanted more exercise.
  • Lovely park by the river Thames. A nice haven for a quiet moment out of the town centre.
  • Picturesque park with a cafe , picnic areas and toilet facilities. Strangely located in the middle of the park there is a bird Avairy with exotic birds. Nice place to get away from it all, take some spectacular pictures of the river Thames and the famous weir.
