Story goes this victorian pier cost around £18000 to build somewhere near 1885. St Annes Pier is also well known for its fine Victorian wrought iron work if you like that type of thing. It has shops, ... more »
The Pier is an old restored structure with lots of fun machines for young & old. You can walk along past the small crazy golf & enjoy the expanse of beach. more »
St Anne's Pier is a child and wheelchair friendly place . I'm giving it a 5 for the simple reason the machines are cheaper than Blackpool's pier amusements and a quieter atmosphere . more »
The pier has seen better days. Carpets are worn out and some interesting smells from toilets. Arcade games are good fun. The pier was lively but it's in need of some TLC.
Good sea views at the end of the pier once you get through the arcades and slot machines. There is a coffee shop which was very presentable and the staff were friendly and helpful. Shame they didn't do the ice cream there but a minor quibble.
St Anne's Pier looks Magnificent from a distance, but to get access onto the Pier is through the Amusement Arcade when it opens, it was 11.00am when I visited.
A lovely family day out. So much to do for all the family. St Annes is definately our favourite seaside town.
Lots of fun for all the family. Good eating places.
