"Thank you for sharing this wonderful location. We have thoroughly enjoyed our time here - wished it could have been longer. Very relaxing and chilled. Perfect!!"

"Comfy Studio in a super location. Enjoyed the Undercliff Walks and the local towns: especially Lyme Regis and Charmouth. Good meals at Axmouth – The Ship. Seatown – The Anchor. Axmouth – River Cottage Canteen."

"What a wonderful find this Studio is, set in a wonderful secluded position. The beach is lovely: walks from the studio, either way good. Or further afield great coastal walks. The peace and stillness of the place make it a special stay. Will be spreading the word to our friends; what a great place to come to."

S and K September 2011

"A piece of peace in this busy, noisy world. We have never heard so much quietness! Thank you for a restful few days in your place where time forgot."

A and L August 2011

"Many thanks for sharing such a great location and what a beach! We have been to Rousdon many times but never seen it from this perspective. Great walks and plenty of quiet rest, what a good recipe for a holiday."

C and A July 2011

"What a place! A unique location and a lovely Studio… and the beach and the woods… and the silence (with just the distant sounds of the sea.) I wanted to be on my own to read, to write and to think. It’s been a superb 4/5 days and I am sorry to be leaving but I hope to be back before long. Thank you so much."

JP Sept 2011

"Three delightful nights bringing back memories of teenage school days "

  • This walk is unexceptional and requires you to finish it. A much better option would be to find almost any other walk elsewhere!  more »
  • Many of the reviews in this category speak of walks along the Lyme Regis sea front or of strolls along the Cobb. My understanding of the undercliff is of the 7 or so mile walk between LR and Axmouth....  more »
  • Absolutely beautiful place with the character I would expect from fisherman town. Good amenities. There is a big parking 10 min walk from the beach for £2 a day.because we are still in pandemic time.....  more »
