(4.1/5 based on 900+ reviews on the web)
Located at the end of the historic "Cobb" (harbor wall), Lyme Regis Marine Aquarium educates visitors about the fish and marine life of the area. This child-friendly venue allows you to participate in hands-on exhibits: hold a starfish, hand-feed a mullet fish, and touch a lobster. The aquarium also displays nautical artifacts and shows a presentation about the area's history, including the Cobb. This aquarium is a great rainy-day destination. • Soooo expensive for what is basically two rooms. And £3 per person to feed the fish! What a shame, but maybe they have to charge this to keep going....
  • Hand feed mullet where else would you do that? Educational too.
  • Had a brilliant time here today with the children. Max (the owner) was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and amusing. The children loved the interaction with the Mullet and thoroughly enjoyed handling the star fish as well as having their photo taken with the enormous crab and lobster. Felt it was good value for money and we will certainly be back soon. Definitely recommend this lovely quirky aquarium on The Cobb!
  • Very hands-on interaction with the fish, and an extremely enthusiastic, knowledgeable owner!
  • Absolute rip off. It's 2 tiny rooms. Better off going to a fish shop.
