  • Absolute treasure trove of fossils and information packed into this old church. We had a few hours on the way back from a holiday in Devon and decided to do a mini pilgrimage to Mary Annings...

  • Wonderful couple or hours spent looking at the many many fossils, minerals and Fossil Dinosaur exhibits. Lots to see, v knowledgeable owner who can assist with any query. See photos for a few examples. Never seen so many ammonites :)
  • We had a wonderful time visiting the museum. We all said that we could see the love and dedication that had gone into all of the displays. We also loved the witty commentary on some of the informational placards!
  • First things first, this place has a huge and incredibly impressive collection of rocks, fossils, skeletons and general geological exhibits. Years and years of hard work and dedication clearly went into creating it all. However, this is absolutely NOT a dinosaur museum and may disappoint the odd child enthusiast as a result. The actual dinosaur section is really old and a bit neglected. Sad to see in fact. I am sure that if and when some investment arrives the place will become a real destination. For now, it is a rather faded gem. Very reasonable entry price however. Only a fiver per adult and nothing for our 4 year old.
  • Awesome place! Much bigger than I was expecting, very educational, displays and write ups of every era into the Mesozoic era. Owners are amazing, very patient and knowledgeable, happily answered all of my questions :)
  • Lovely little museum, my 5 year old was totally blown away with the fossils, model dinosaurs and stuffed animals. Lots of the species on display are found in Lyme Regis. We were there about 40 min. Not crowded and super friendly.
