  • Love this place. If you simply want to take a walk and enjoy the countryside without going off the track, this is the place. Refreshments can be taken in Wrest House Cafe where the kids can play in the play areas for free. Good dog walking area as well. If your want a picnic, this is the place. Wide open green spaces with enough space for the whole family to eat, play and have fun!
  • Fantastic day out for all the family. The cafĂ© is pretty good. There's lots of space for running around and loads of interesting things to explore in the grounds. They run quite a few events, and the volunteers are really great with children.
  • Lovely gardens and lots of running around for the kids. There are so many things to see here that we discover something new each time we come. There is also a play park with a decent cafe opposite. The only disappointing part is that you can't see around much of the house. The upstairs rooms (presumably with spectacular views of the grounds) are offices. It must be lovely to work there, but I feel that visitors are missing out.
  • Beautiful surroundings garden and stately home are a nice place to visit anytime of year. Shop and reasonably priced restaurant.
  • A beautiful house with a vast expanse of grassy land. Huge ponds full of fish with beautiful dragonflies too. A bit pricey if you are not an English Heritage member though.
