  • We visit a lot. It's free to get in as we are members but as a one off would be alot for a family. Food at the cafe is lovely and freshly made :)  more »

  • Wrest Park has been the destination of many a walk with my family. It is often frequented by dog walkers and families with small children. Covering 92 acres in the Bedfordshire countryside and run by charity organisation English Heritage, it is a good place to release energy. There is plenty of wildlife to interact with and photograph. The house is beautiful, and has been used in various music videos and television programs. There are often events, such as live re-enactments, crafting fairs, storytelling, food fairs, and house tours. Much of the grounds are wheelchair accessible, though there are steps in and around the house that make it inaccessible to those with mobility problems. Disabled parking is near the main entryway, where there are clean loos and a comfortable eating area, seating both inside and outdoors. The cafe overlooks the children's playground, styled to complement the manor house. Overall, the perfect place for a comfortable stroll.
  • Very helpful staff. Beautiful gardens. Our 87 year old mums were made to feel very welcome and loved the free mobility scooters!
  • Had a fantastic afternoon learning about ancient Britons. Great re-enactments, the weapons and horses were a strong draw for the young and old children in our party. Fabulous grounds are magnificent and worth a visit for their own beauty.
  • If you like English Heritage and national trust properties you'll love this place. Huge house and Gardens to explore. They also put on 2 large events during the year: Wrest at war and At George's day
  • This is a beautiful park and museum with follies in the grounds. Gardens, ponds and also possibility of good long walks ìf you want to do this. It has a nice cafe with a reasonable choice of food.
