  • My son went onto Martyn Lewis' site to find free places to visit and Wardown House Museum was one of them that was highlighted! It is situated in a lovely park with a lake and play area - people were also jogging through the park too! We arrived early so walked round the outside of the building which is very nice with lovely varying roof lines and chimneys! We were met by a guide as we went into the building and gave us a brief description of the house. We walked round and looked at the exhibits in the ground floor rooms which were set out as they would have been. Upstairs were a couple of rooms again but also displays of Luton's heritage and lots of hands on things for the children! There is also a good sized cafe too. A very good place to visit! 😊
  • Visited this excellent museum with my two children , 4 and 8 years old , they really enjoyed the time as it is really child friendly the displays with interaction and "find the mice" kept their attention. The renovation and remodelling of the museum has been done very well. I would not hesitate in recommending a visit.
  • A much improved museum with the rooms better lighted and more open. The cafe is a good addition but should have more kids friendly foods. Worth a revisit
  • This is a 21st Century Museum. Tastefully done. I loved it.
  • Very impressed with the new setout, especialy the interactive displays and would recommend a visit to all my friends and family.
