  • Regardless of your religious beliefs, this church must surely be one of the most beautiful buildings in the area. Dating from the 12th. Century it has some spectacular stained glass, medieval effigies and beautifully carved misericordes. The staff are very friendly and welcome all visitors of any faith - or none. Well worth a visit!
  • If you're in Ludlow, this is really worth a visit. Climb up the tower and also see the bells ringing.
  • Wow! One of the other reviews says a "mini-cathedral" and I think that's a fair comment. It is a lovely light church with large windows. There is a lot of history with one of the kings of England having reputed to have been partly (yes, that's correct!) buried here. The climb up the tower is well worth the three pounds. There are no passing places except for two doorways - but the views over the English countryside are extensive. Just time it better than we did with a shower coming striding in just as we reached the top! :-) When you go up the tower, you might time it lucky with the bell strikes - fingers in ears! Friendly staff too - yep - liked this church.
  • 15th century wood carvings beautiful church
