Sadly unrecognised ever as a significant place by local councils, there is a meagre ground plaque under the shadow of a massive wind turbine surrounded by industrial units. I'm an ashamed local.
This could so easily be a destination but instead it is a circle in an industrial estate. What a missed opportunity. Come on....
Good job we had a sat nav or we would never have found it. Nice peaceful hide away. Just looking out to sea.
Interesting because it is Britain's most easterly point and it has distances to various places around the world. It was rather bleak when I visited. It might be better on a sunny day.
Really nice place to visit the eastern most point of Britain. Free parking. Really nice spending some time looking at nature. You are not allowed to climb the rocks there.
I highly recommend you giving lowestoft a visit great pubs and clubs the locals are nice people
There is no proper post code or signpost for ness point. It hidden somewhere behind an industrial area.Even the locals don't know to give proper directions. The visit was extremely disappointing to find that such an important landmark of UK is in an appalling condition.Local authorities should look into refurbishing it & put sign post in main roads
