  • A wonderfully safe place to enjoy animals, play area and also get a coffee and relax. You can walk, go on the train or just sit and watch the world go by while the children play .

  • It's a nice layout and fairly small so good for little ones, I feel it's a bit over priced especially the food! Really good lion enclosure as you can get really close, I'm glad we've been but wouldn't rush back. Our children got bored quite quickly.
  • A really good zoo. Staff are friendly and the kids loved the Explorer challenge and getting their medals at the end of the day. My only concern was the cape hunting dogs pacing up and down the cage fence which makes me feel the enclosure wasn't big enough for them. Other then that we will gladly return next year.
  • I'm not a lover of zoos but Africa Alive does let most animals roam free within large enclosures, kids love it and adults too. The public areas are clean and pleasent and the entrance fee is the average for attractions in the area. I would much rather see the animals in the wild but understand the reasons for zoos.
  • Nice zoo to spend a day or maybe less. Beautifull grounds, enough parking spaces, good amount of animals to see, not amazing. Don't eat at the restaurant, food is rubish.
  • Came to Africa alive about 4 years ago it was the best time I've ever had not good on my legs so the little train was a god send can't wait any longer to return so planning a visit this summer
