Good room. Afternoon tea and evening lunch. Very expensive glass of wine will not be getting that again.
This hotel is not located close to any local amenities, but do not let this put you off. The Northumberland countryside is outstanding. A car is likely needed if going off-site. My room had amazing views and was very clean and comfortable. Evening dining in the onsite pub was good, offering contemporary pub style dining. The grounds were beautifully kept and the staff amazing. I stayed on business but shall be returning with my wife at a later point.
Attended a wedding there and it was lovely. The service on hand was second to none. Highly recommended.
Spent two nights here celebrating my fiancés birthday. The location is fantastic, all you can hear are the birds. The pool area very quiet and chilled and the food is outstanding. Floors creak a little but it's an old building. I would definitely stay here again, the staff are a credit to the manager.
I was at Linden Hall for a spa day, it was a lovely day, the treatments were lovely, the staff were lovely, we had afternoon tea which was very nice. Unfortunately on this occasion there was a problem with the heating and the jacuzzi. There was no heating or hot water but they were working on it from the time we got there. The jacuzzi was off all day but the rest of the facilities were OK to use. This didn't spoil my day it was very relaxing
