  • We decided on a day out and chose to visit Kentwell Hall. We chose to go early in the week so as not to be in crowds. Approaching from the long drive the Hall seemed very imposing. On the whole the ha...  more »
  • We went on a bank holiday and everyone was dressed up in traditional dress with traditional food being prepared in the kitchen. Really interesting and fun.  more »
  • Visited Kentwell in a small group on a recent Sunday not knowing what to expect. The house and gardens greatly exceeded expectations. Kentwell is a typical Tudor house which, since they acquired it in...  more »
  • Great garden and wooden trails. Full of stories for the little ones. We have been there at a private event and we didn't had access inside but we will come back to visit. The gardens are lovely. I really liked the Walled Garden as it has an old orchard with wonderful apple trees. Great family place with plenty to see and do.
  • First class! The re-enactment is done so well, you feel as if you have gone back in time. The people involved are dressed to the last detail, they are keen to share their knowledge and truly make history come to life. Can not recommend this highly enough. Well worth a visit any time, it is a beautiful place with a fabulous atmosphere.
  • Kentwell Hall recreated the sights, sounds and smells of Tudor England with a large team of dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers. There are regular events throughout the year, including Tudor, Victorian and WW2. Kentwell Hall is. Large complex of buildings including home farm and the mansion so a good visit will take all day, not just five minutes! There's a good tea room and toilets and all facilities have been made level access. Ramps have been added to the mansion to enable access for wheelchairs and pushchairs too.
  • Beautiful building in spectacular location. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Food from the restaurant was decent quality at a fair price. We will definitely return.
  • The theme days are amazing. There is things going on in hidden corners and everyone wants to talk to you about their skill or interest.
