Maybe this mall must have been beautiful but now reigns the desolation, most shops closed and shut down. I think it's a shame both for inside and outside very nice and authentic that for that position, it could be really great. The worst thing is the exterior because of there could hardly understands that it is a mall and shops there are in and this thing does not help to increase the tourist clientele species since the area is full of hotels

This is a crime. Many shops are empty. Food wise just a Pizza Express which is fighting a losing battle. This beautiful building with lovely staircase should not be left to deteriorate. Other than the...  more »

I used to live in West London and was a regular visitor to whiteleys. I had not been for 15 years or so and my God what a shock. A ghastly cheap bag shop as you enter, empty shops, sports direct. It w...  more »

  • It's okay is an apt description. I never choose to shop here unless I happen to be in the area. The cinema is okay, but I only go if I have a deal as there are many others nearby with better prices. It needs serious investment, but in theory could be a really good shopping center.
  • The building itself is great and located in a nice area of the city. However, a lot of stuff inside is closed down. Not much to do inside - very few people, very dull atmosphere. It would be great to revive such a building as its in a prime location.
  • Amazing building so much of history behind this beautiful shopping centre. There are only few shops still open but nothing to complain about that. It's always clean and tidy 👍😊
  • It's very sad. This beautiful Art Deco building was once buzzing with business, beautiful shops elegant restaurants, and so much to do. Now this Gorgeous and Elegant place is hollow, empty lacking. Its a shell of its former self ..filled with horrible cheap market level stores selling knock off fake junk ! I feel sorry for the few shops left behind like Gap, and Marks & Spencers....The young and trendy no longer visit. It's sad that the local council do not do something to encourage the best retailers a lovely Art Deco building like this deserves elegance the best not shoddy and desperate market stall holders....No it's not somewhere I would spend my money.
  • Good mall not for extensive shopping but cheap and good quality goods Has some coffee outlets too and a supermarket

Where to stay in London

Many of London's main attractions are spread out, so nearby public transportation is key. There is no downtown area as such in London, and some of the least expensive hotels have more convenient access to tourist sites than the costlier ones. For a quintessential London experience, consider staying in the West End. This part of town offers excellent theaters, historical sites, and eating and shopping options for every taste. Lodging won’t be cheap, but you’ll have the colorful variety of London life right at your doorstep. Look at Notting Hill or Chelsea for charming and less expensive boutique hotels and B&Bs.
