A fantastic open space for walking with lots of different routes and access points. The municipal park is protected land and part of Epping Forrest land. Used by 100 of people daily with 3 lakes and a cafe located in the basin lake. There is also a historic building called the Temple where you can learn about the ruins of the Wanstead House and the grounds the park is once part of.
Great place to walk dogs. Perfect for a weekend stroll. Nice paths around the lakes. On the weekends the Temple is worth a visit.
This was a real find; it has an air of Hampstead Heath about it and is a really good place for having a picnic on a summers day and communing with nature!

Beautiful area for walking, cycling, running. Plenty of green, golf fields.
