  • We live in the area and use the place regularly, almost daily in the summer. Wish they'd stop chopping bits of it down. Not sure it needs all the tidying up. Agree it's great to make it accessible for...  more »
  • That here are the graves of Britons of all origins, something Weihevolles is the place. You you decipher stones before 180Jahren labelled but still good. Then there are the wild grasses, which overgrow the Gräberlange already. Long birds have conquered this place for yourself and make your voices heard. It is enchanted and timeless here. Many very high and old, stories the trees, even older than the stones here in the East end. A wonderful place.

  • Great place to discover a hidden side of London's history unknown to many visitors and as ''peaceful'' as you'd expect.  more »

  • I cannot believe I never visited before. So much atmosphere. It's a magical place.
  • Lovely place for a walk. Lots of wild flowers in the woodland areas, and honey bees are kept in the northern part of the park. Went here for the first time to get some pictures of a family dog in a nice setting, and it didn't fail to deliver great outdoor pictures.
  • A beautiful, peaceful, secluded nature reserve in east London. This location is nice to visit during any season, and especially poignant given its former use.
  • A unique get away from the hustle and bustle of the big city.
  • Though not as alluring as some of the other "Magnificent Seven" cemeteries of London, this one is still worth a visit. I don't know how to put this without sounding morbid but there's more "space" here than the other ones we've been to so at times it does feel more like a park than a cemetery. Don't be surprised to find runners jogging through or parents taking their toddlers for a stroll.
