We also buy some souvenirs in the gift shop. The tour is highly recommended. Lasts around 90 minutes, our group was guided by a lady who gave us lots of information and interesting facts, led us to the Central Court and to every corner of the stadium, even to the IBM information and data room, room of BBC interviews, dining rooms and other courts. The stadium is not very big, but it is very elegant, entertains the visit, although I think that you should like something the tennis to go.show original
Many years ago we had been to AELTC Wimbledon Fortnight using 1st week ground passes but having won ballot tickets this was a real treat. Views from our lofty centre court seats were exceptional, surp... read more »
Simply superb. Wanted to visit since childhood. Ticked. Had a great tour of this place. Unforgettable experience
Great day. 8 hours queuing which can be frustrating esp if it rains but this got us on to centre Court for all of Federer's match for a total of £35 (ground pass £25 centre Court return ticket £10) Pimms for £8! Pricey
Icon venue. Great sight lines. Even from the back of the show courts. Wonderful atmosphere and lots to soak up. Catering is plentiful but at the prices you'd expect at this kind of event. Every sports grab should attend at least once.
Joined 'The Queue' for mens quarterfinal day and got a ground pass. I had a great day out and will probably return next year. If you see a space on Henman hill grab it quick!
Beautiful grounds and a well-run tournament. Definitely has its own style as compared to US Open or French Open, and is worth the visit. Tickets can be challenging or impossible to get, but if you are up for some adventure the queue can be a fun experience in itself - do your research ahead of time.
Probably the best Grand Slam tournament for fans. As a tennis coach I prefer Australian open. However in Wimbledon you can feel the tradition and the old-fashioned style all over the place. Beautiful facilities and the best grass courts ever. Really worth it.
