  • I have been luckily enough to visit on several occasions and there is always something new to see. Whats more if you are not such a tennis fan you will be equally entertained. There really is no place...  more »
  • My family of four (2 teenagers) visited the museum and tour using our London Pass. I booked a tour time in advance via email as there's no place on their website to book a time AND use your London Pas...  more »

  • The guided tour was brilliant with a very informative guide and lots to see. Lots of stairs and walking involved - there were some elevators but not to all areas. The museum was fantastic as well. A must for any tennis fan!!
  • Lovely experience, you can take all your own food, drink to the equivalent of a bottle of wine/champagne per person or 2 x 500ml beers. Strawberries and cream, a must😀only £2.50 per serving and generous servings, free water top ups all around, so it really doesn't have to be an expensive day. Easy access to all courts, staff enthusiastic and friendly, entry to the museum is £13 but worth a visit for the history. Extremely clean , just loving the whole experience.
  • Came here for Wimbledon 2017. Absolutely stunning venue, definitely sticks to the Wimbledon theme of green and purple. Staff are lovely and super enthusiastic with the tennis. Lots of food places and Wimbledon shops to spend your money. Had a brilliant day here exploring the grounds and watching matches. Definitely worth a visit
  • Have been to the championships 5 times in 4 years and is always good. Recommend watching some of the open courts even when you have main court tickets
  • Great atmosphere during the Championship.. I have usually queued for ground pass tickets and after watching some tennis on unreserved outside courts queued again near court 18 for resale tickets to show courts. As long as you are flexible you can watch great matches. This is probably the best value sporting event in the UK. See photos from my 2017 experience

Where to stay in London

Many of London's main attractions are spread out, so nearby public transportation is key. There is no downtown area as such in London, and some of the least expensive hotels have more convenient access to tourist sites than the costlier ones. For a quintessential London experience, consider staying in the West End. This part of town offers excellent theaters, historical sites, and eating and shopping options for every taste. Lodging won’t be cheap, but you’ll have the colorful variety of London life right at your doorstep. Look at Notting Hill or Chelsea for charming and less expensive boutique hotels and B&Bs.
