Create an itinerary including St. James's Park
St. James's Park is one of the most pleasurable green spaces in London. The oldest of the city's royal parks, it offers 23 hectares (57 acres) of lawns, trees, and playgrounds around a pond. Take a stroll down the queen's ceremonial route from Buckingham Palace, spot the palace and the London Eye from the Blue Bridge, and enjoy a waterside meal at Inn the Park while spotting ducks, geese, swans, and even pelicans. While in the park, keep an eye out for some of the plaques along the Diana Princess of Wales Memorial Walk. This 11 km (7 mi) route past buildings and locations related to the princess goes through this park, as well as Green Park, Hyde Park, and Kensington Gardens. A visit to St. James's Park represents just the start of the adventure when you use our London travel route builder website to plot your vacation.

  • A lovely green space respite near Buckingham Palace. This is the perfect place to grab a cup of coffee or tea and just breathe.

  • Wow , what an excellent park . This park is other than Buckingham royal residence in London. This is the most established Royal park in London and elements an enormous lake where you see a ton of untamed life like birds, ducks, geese, swans and even pelicans. Wonderful park with a ton of excellent nurseries. Great landscape everywhere, a pleasant spot to unwind a lot. A mobile distance to different focal points in London, similar to the Buckingham castle, Trafalgar Square, Parliament Square. A pleasant spot to visit in case you're in London.
  • Beautiful place to visit whether your a local or tourist.. Visit Buckingham Palace then have a nice stroll in St James Park.. Loads of wildlife.. Birds.. Different types of ducks and pelicans and a lovely lake.. The gardens are very pretty an colourful. There's not many things in London that are free. Which is a bonus..
  • Great space to unwind having been doing the tourist attractions locally.Loads of space playgrounds, lakes streams, wooded areas snack outlets,Princess Diana memorial great for kids lots of water. Would be a great place to cycle around but couldn't find anywhere easy to hire bikes for all the Family as Boris bikes not any good for little ones.
  • It's really beautiful and peaceful, has a huge variety of wild birds, including albatrosses and black swans!! However, the pond is all surrounded by thick bush and it's hard to see beyond them. Also it would be great if the feeding times for the birds were published, as I'm sure a lot of people would enjoy seeing this.
  • A lovely park which is peaceful, calm and well maintained. I couldn't recommend a more lovely place in central London to have a picnic! A must visit if doing tourist things.
