Inspirock Rating:
4.7/5 based on 10,000+ reviews on the web
St. James's Park is one of the most pleasurable green spaces in London. The oldest of the city's royal parks, it offers 23 hectares (57 acres) of lawns, trees, and playgrounds around a pond. Take a stroll down the queen's ceremonial route from Buckingham Palace, spot the palace and the London Eye from the Blue Bridge, and enjoy a waterside meal at Inn the Park while spotting ducks, geese, swans, and even pelicans. While in the park, keep an eye out for some of the plaques along the Diana Princess of Wales Memorial Walk. This 11 km (7 mi) route past buildings and locations related to the princess goes through this park, as well as Green Park, Hyde Park, and Kensington Gardens. • ok , nothing great to see except for a few ducks and a lake; also very crowded, may be beceause it was a saturday
  • The dimensions of this park are more "modest" (fewer) while being huge for a city park. It looks like a provincial town so it's quiet late in the day, the squirrels will be there for you greet. London is a city of parks and you should take advantage.

  • Great park in central london, busy throughout the year with office workers and tourists alike. Big lake in centre of park with an island at each end and wide selection of birds/wildlife including pelicans. Restaurant always appears busy although never tried it .
  • I this the best Park with animali and Bird. Too many animali and bird. U cab touch many if thats. Nice green relax area and good little lake.
  • A small but beautiful park so centrally located and close to Buckingham Palace. There's a small bridge with just perfect views of the city, London Eye and other famous sites. Take a stroll through this part and you'll truly enjoy a quiet spot in the city.
  • One of the best parks in London. Trees, gardens, lake, walking/running track and a place to eat. Amazing!
  • Definitely should be on the to-do list. The park is full of flowers, squirrels and an excellent atmosphere. Relax and enjoy London life.
