  • The exhibitions are variable. The coffee is generally good if pricey. Useful location for meetings. Nice views

  • Somerset House does some of the best fashion exhibitions bar none. The most memorable would have to be the retrospective of Valentino and the heart wrenching but fascinating, Isabella Blow - Fashion Galore! Aside from exhibitions, they are hosts to London Fashion Week (although the BFC moved the actual shows to Soho for the SS15 collections) twice a year. Aside from being an art gallery and event space, it's definitely fashionable. Now just did a wildlife drawing clash there with live animals. So much fun!
  • A fantastic gallery that so many people miss. Quiet compared with the buiser London galleries but more enjoyable because of it. Great cafes and food available at Somerset House as well. The ice rink here is wonderful in winter.
  • Fun place to be. There is always something going on. On the picture you can see kids having fun on the hot day, there are film screenings in the Summer and ice-skating in the Winter. Inside on regular basis they have extraordinary exhibitions. And fashion shows I heard... So, it's one of the places, which one should always keep in the diary and check what they are up to...
  • A must visit place throughout the year with lots of events and things to do. amazing architecture and a wonderful place to visit. Nice coffee and food selection the cafe.
  • On a four mile walk across London yesterday, Somerset House was my highlight. When you step through those three arches, you enter a quiet hidden world of tranquillity. The courtyard has little chairs where people sat alone read a paper book, just brilliant. edit: adding my black and white photo, 'Man on Chair'' ..
