  • London is a fantastic city at any time but to get an overall view of its grandeur and majesty you need to get above it. The Sky Garden at 20, Fenchurch Street, offers visitors exactly that opportunity...  more »
  • Really nice views of London to enjoy with a drink or a bite. It gets crowded so make sure you reserve places or get there early in the morning (before 11am). Make sure to walk around to enjoy 360 degr...  more »
  • I did not book! There was no space available, so turned up before 10.00am and got in at once. There is airport style security in place before the lifts. The views are spectacular, HMS Belfast looks sm...  more »

  • This a great idea, however the execution is very poor. Book a time slot, stand outside in a queue. At the end of the queue you join another queue.. to then go through airport scanners and be searched... to then join another queue. The garden itself is poor, at this time of year it’s very cold and a lot of the plants don’t look very healthy. There’s not much variety, and no information about any of the plants. It takes approximately 3 minutes to walk round and see everything... I genuinely queued for longer than I spent on the top floor. This wouldn’t be so disappointing if the entrance procedure was more bearable and the staff less inept. I must have been asked to show my ticket 3 times... I know this is free, but I’d much rather pay for something decent, than be disappointed. On the bright side the refreshments at the pod bar weren’t majorly expensive.
  • The inside is really well landscaped, and there are some seating areas amongst the plants. Some of the windows are etched with the landmarks that you can see out of them. The restaurant looks nice, but isn't cheap. There is a bar area which also serves coffee and cakes. The best part is the balcony, but be aware that it's closed off at night time. Entry is free, but book tickets to make sure that you will get in, as it is very popular.
  • The Sky Garden is definitely recommended whether you live in London or even if you're just visiting. We had to book a ticket a week in advance and was very difficult to get tickets, as it is usually very busy during the weekends. Fortunately, we were lucky to get evening tickets on a Saturday after waiting for weeks to quickly grab a ticket before they were gone. When we got there we didn't have to wait too long before getting in. When entering we had to scan our ticket through the machine, no ID was checked as I thought they would have, as we had our name on the ticket and was asked to bring in ID to prove our identification. They done a thorough security check where we had to walk through metal detectors and check our bags like we were in the airport, so everything was very safe and secure. When we got to the top of the Sky Garden the view was amazing. We were able to have a 360 view of London, it was lovely. Especially since we went in the evening we were able to see the city lights. They had a balcony where we were able to go out and enjoy the view, we took some very nice pictures out there! We only went for the view and not the food or drinks, but when passing by the bar to have a look, the drinks were very pricey. Overall, was a good experience and would go again!
  • What a view . I initially thought the view was just over the river but on visiting found you get a 360° view from the top. There is plenty of room at the top and a bar and cafe too. Great views of London and beyond, and especially of the Tower of London and Tower Bridge below. Best of all it's free but you need to reserve online prior to your visit.
  • We had an amazing view, the sun was shining and the sky was clear. I'd highly recommend coming. It might be nice to come for dinner and see the sun set and day turn to night. That might be a nice romantic thing to do
