  • You have to get tickets in advance but worthwhile. It has better views than the london eye. Also free is super recommended

  • Cost me a lot get reservation to visit it because it must be done through its website Monday with at least 2-3 weeks in advance, and if not go see periodically if there has been any cancellation, but we must be attentive, "fly" immediately. Another option, without reservation, is to go from 6 o'clock to drink there (that Yes, there is that dress well and without children). The site and the views of the London are spectacular from its 160 metres of height. Don't need to spend 30 pounds in the London Eye, that personally see you a tontada and very expensive. Alternatively, good views, and also free is from the Tate Modern

  • We'd planned to visit purely for the views initially to celebrate my mothers birthday, however, the atmosphere, charm and vibrant nature of the Sky Garden meant that we couldn't resist stopping off for a bite to eat. Although the available establishments were indeed pricey, when you take in to consideration you're 35-floors up with some of the best views of London available today, you begin to appreciate that you get what you pay for. Be sure to make your way out to the viewing platform for a breath of fresh air. Can't wait to go again, also, ideal for a first date.
  • Nice view of London for free but tickets are required for entry. Tickets are all sold out soon so you have to plan in advance. The view is excellent. From the outdoor terrace you can see the River Thames and surrounding buildings. There are plenty of options to eat or simply sit and relax. The tickets are timed so you need to arrive a bit early for security.
  • Visited on a Wednesday night and the Sky Pod Bar had a fantastic atmosphere, heaving with people and a live band. Unfortunately, there did not seem to be enough staff on for the amount of people there. The host looked a little stressed having to deal with the long line of people waiting to be seated, although she was friendly and apologetic when she finally did greet us. When we were seated, we were informed it was table service. However, at this point I could not see a single waiter circulating the tables. It was extremely slow. It was 45 minutes between the time we were first seated and when our cocktails arrived. The slowness of the service was only compensated by our eventual waitress who was absolutely lovely. She acknowledged she was rushed off her feet and was extremely apologetic. She deserves a medal for her efforts in serving her tables despite the busy-ness. Towards the end of the night as it quietened down, the speed of service improved massively and drinks came out faster. Drinks are pricey - but it is what you expect for the location so I have not marked down for that! Cocktails were well presented - yummy but not mind-blowing. Upshot: come for the views and the atmosphere, if you have the pennies to spend and don't mind waiting for a drink.
  • Incredible place to visit especially in the summer. It's a lovely walk through the building and upstairs, completely surrounded by trees and greenery, and there's also the popular option to dine there too. The view from the balcony is stunning, and makes you really appreciate the London skyline over the Thames. I will say that it looks larger in pictures than it really is, but that didn't dampen the experience. Entrance was easy, although there were a few security checks and you have to queue but nothing unpleasant. You need to book your slot online - it's completely free but availability is limited so book in advance, and show the booking on your phone when entering.
  • I don't know why - people say that the building is ugly. I don't think so. It depends on the taste... Maybe I have a bad taste... I like it. You can go to the sky garden for free (!!!). No waiting longer than 5-10 minutes before you can enter the elevator. Perfect 360° view to the city. Must see for visitors of London!

Where to stay in London

Many of London's main attractions are spread out, so nearby public transportation is key. There is no downtown area as such in London, and some of the least expensive hotels have more convenient access to tourist sites than the costlier ones. For a quintessential London experience, consider staying in the West End. This part of town offers excellent theaters, historical sites, and eating and shopping options for every taste. Lodging won’t be cheap, but you’ll have the colorful variety of London life right at your doorstep. Look at Notting Hill or Chelsea for charming and less expensive boutique hotels and B&Bs.
