  • Was intrigued as to what this what so thought we'd try it out rather spontaneously. As a result we paid full price which (and of course I know its london) I thought was a bit much. It was slightly les...  more »
  • Recommend! It's very well organized and it's quite fun for both children and adults. Surprised no doubt by positive.

  • Took a 14 and 11 year old as they wanted to see what it was about. We all enjoyed the time though we were confused and a tad bored to start with as there was a lot of standing around to start with. Th...  more »

  • "Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy" as the "tour guide" said to the group of people. This was the worst thing I've ever experienced. My younger sibling has sensitive eyes and goes to the opticians often. In one of the rooms, extreme flashing lights shine suddenly after being in the dark for so long making him cry and his eyes hurt for the rest day. Warning signs at start may be their excuse, but as I tried to read them the characters would ask the audience to "hurry up, now". All the roles the people in the storyline looked sick to death of their job (really can't blame them though). However though the staff outside the story line are extremely friendly and deserve a raise. If you don't have the merlin pass please don't waste your money on this. Its not worth it.
  • We enjoyed the whole storyline with the great performances by their 10 live actor shows and their special effects. It amazed us in many ways. The tour took roughly around 1 hour 25 minutes with no break. Hence it is best to go for a toilet break before you start your tour.
  • I went with my 6 year old boy and we really enjoyed ourselves. Loved the 4D bus and story line. I only thought it was too expensive
  • Unless you have Merlin passes, I wouldn't go. The 4d part was good, but it is a lot of walking through the attraction, with the characters rushing you to the next scene. When my son got lost in the maze, he was told he was 'stupid for going that way', by Sleeping Beauty!! You are 'persuaded ' to buy your photo album at the end, which is expensive for what it is!
  • 5/5. Took the kids down and they loved it over Easter holidays. I also enjoyed it. The tour is really fun and the actors are very good. They get the audience involved which is great. The pack with the other things such as Madam Tussauds it worth it too.

Where to stay in London

Many of London's main attractions are spread out, so nearby public transportation is key. There is no downtown area as such in London, and some of the least expensive hotels have more convenient access to tourist sites than the costlier ones. For a quintessential London experience, consider staying in the West End. This part of town offers excellent theaters, historical sites, and eating and shopping options for every taste. Lodging won’t be cheap, but you’ll have the colorful variety of London life right at your doorstep. Look at Notting Hill or Chelsea for charming and less expensive boutique hotels and B&Bs.
