  • Baker Street station, walk. Follow directions on the Way out to the road called the "Marylebone Road", or Madame Tussauds could be wilder or big station is five lanes through Metro to get to any exit, but the in front of out onto the exit. This statue was built by ABI-national housing finance company in 1999. This company and falls in 221B Baker Street address was famous for doing a nifty reply letters addressed to Sherlock Holmes, but Lehman Brothers hit the already had shuttered. This is a statue of Sherlock Holmes in the fourth in the world. It is somewhat surprising! In fact, in the world, or the second statue is Japan. Compare secretly might be fun.

  • Leave the Baker Street subway station, in front there is a statue. Surprised and unexpectedly large (lol near Museum going, this region was Sherlock's sacred atmosphere.

  • Time was tight and I didn't think my nieces (under 14 years) would fully appreciate the museum, given their Sherlock knowledge is mainly based on the Cumberbatch variety. So, having saved ourselves over £20 and a long queue, after a quick pose with the nice policeman by the door of his Baker St residence and a charming hello from the shop's greater (seriously, that's his job) we had probably just as much fun in the shop. It's a lovely building and they've created a lovely atmosphere plus there are plenty of deerstalker hats to try on and pose for an illicit photo with. Lots of other memorabilia to snap up, including some which were quite reasonable in pocket-money terms.
