A historic department store that set the tone for brand-name shopping in the early 20th century, Selfridges remains one of the premiere British department stores. Inside the London location, designer brands are tastefully displayed on each of the many floors. The shop is the second largest in the country after Harrod's. Enjoy the pampering of staff while shopping or take a tour of the famous store. A visit to Selfridges represents just the start of the adventure when you use our London trip itinerary planner to plot your vacation.

  • Large complex, big stores, not your average stores but expensive high class stores. I guarantee you that you'll find brand you've never heard before. Sometimes celebrities shop there. Free WiFi, not too sure about parking because it's centre London man. Experience there is nice, you will be wowed first time. Also one more thing, you either need to be rich or need to have lots of money to buy lots of stuff!
  • Such an iconic store! Very high end, especially known for its fashion and amazing shoe floor. Also check out the Denim section that sells a dizzying number of brands. I always look forward to seeing their ever changing and artistic window displays, especially at Christmas. Hungry? Try out one of their many restaurants, such as The Corner Restaurant, where you can get a glass of champagne. I also like the Brass Rail, which is a casual deli on the main floor. Tip: Watch the Netflix series Mr. Selfridge, starring Jeremy Piven to get a somewhat factual account of its history and its innovation. Additionally, the Museum of London houses an original elevator from the store.
  • Better than Harrods. Far more trendy and things to die for!!! You are going to want to be there for a few hours seriously so take your time and enjoy
  • If I only had 1 day in London to shop and get a feel for what is 'in', this is where I'd go. No nonsense expensive, stylish stuff.
  • One of the best shopping experiences you can have. You can get literally everything you may want or need. Love all the designer shops
