  • Petticoat Lane market (day highlight to go there Sunday as to other markets of the East End) is neither more nor less as a normal market selling clothing that you can find everywhere in Italy. Winds along the main street and some its side, but it's not just up to much: the goods on display (dressed in 99% of cases) Yes is cheap but sketchy, I brands (some stalls sell clothes by British chain brands, I think the stocks of past years), but just simple garments, with no flicker of originality that distinguishes other London markets , the only stall that he "tried" it was at the beginning of the road selling soft toys where I got a snowman big enough of a Penguin for my collection at £ 5. I remember that in the years 90 was much better, or maybe it's my memories watered down which made it look better. Only positive note: absolutely non-touristy and attended mostly by locals and some curious passage.

  • Great Sunday street market characterized by apparel goods of varying quality. Much frequented by locals of non English ethnicity.

  • Always a big fan there are some lovely food and really great prices. U can get a decent lunch for just 5 pounds here
  • Unique designers buy one of a kind for one if a price.
  • Went to the food market area of petticoat lane and it was quite good but the area is messy. It's got a long way to go before it gets close to the likes of whitecross street but there is some promising stalls there. The chicken katsu wrap was great and at £4.50 is a bargain.
  • Best cheap lunch options around the city
  • This is about the food stalls: OKAY selection cheap and cheerful. Chicken katsu is ok and for £4.5 can't really complain. Chinese too oily and falafel just average.
