  • If you love Egyptology then you have to visit this museum was even better then the British museum. Lots to see going back over 6000yrs of history. Was on my must see list. One word Amazing  more »
  • I've visited the museum and it was really nice. Small but full of interessting sculptures and clay pots. I remember the sarcophagus and it was insulated and I need some time to find it. But if you are...  more »
  • Open from Tuesday to Sunday, 1 pm-5 pm. deserves especially if you fans. Besides the exhibits there are books to read. There is an Italian guide that makes the volunteer who is friendly and very knowledgeable! fascinating Museum, Sin little noticed and valued for the enormous artistic and cultural value! entrance free, if you look at the site, in certain days during lunch hour a volontiaro holds a "seminar" on several projects/themes and I think they also make theme nights! I remained in the heart, thanks silvia!

  • Great place to bring young children. It's lovely and quiet with some great trails for children
  • Great old fashioned museum, of the things-in-glass-cases type. Despite that manages to be very interactive with welcoming and well informed staff and a selection of replica things for kids to play with and dress up in.
  • A great place to have a view of egyptian objects, and how they are studied. Bear in mind the museum is more of a study resource than a proper display for big audiences, so everything is categorised and organised slightly different than other museums would.
  • An amazing collection that's worth going out of your way to see
  • This is a deeply personal collection , made by the man who revealed and revered Ancient Egypt.
