Notting Hill, London
(4.3/5 based on 1,900+ reviews on the web)
The home of the diverse Notting Hill Carnival and the popular Portobello Market, Notting Hill has transformed from a neighborhood of immigrant housing run by slumlords to the home of powerful politicians such as David Cameron. These days, many visitors know the area from the Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant romantic comedy of the same name, where its distinctive white-trimmed rows of houses provide a backdrop for the couple. The neighborhood has a thriving art community and is known locally for the alternative culture found at its restaurants, bars, and shops.  To visit Notting Hill and other attractions in London, use our London trip builder.

  • A place which is worth visiting, famous for the film, but that also has its charms, and on weekends you can enjoy delicious meals, and there are very good restaurants in the area.
