Notting Hill, London

(4.2/5 based on 2,000+ reviews on the web)
The home of the diverse Notting Hill Carnival and the popular Portobello Market, Notting Hill has transformed from a neighborhood of immigrant housing run by slumlords to the home of powerful politicians such as David Cameron. These days, many visitors know the area from the Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant romantic comedy of the same name, where its distinctive white-trimmed rows of houses provide a backdrop for the couple. The neighborhood has a thriving art community and is known locally for the alternative culture found at its restaurants, bars, and shops.  To visit Notting Hill and other attractions in London, use our London trip builder.

  • Nice neighborhood to cross to reach the Portobello market, very touristy, but also full of typical articles used or antique, but the neighborhood is nice even without going to Portobello. It was also a beautiful memory come back after having lived there for the holidays of 1977, also nice near parcdu Kensington Gardens and many stores that despite not being in the market have excellent products and good prices
