Notting Hill, London

(4.2/5 based on 2,000+ reviews on the web)
The home of the diverse Notting Hill Carnival and the popular Portobello Market, Notting Hill has transformed from a neighborhood of immigrant housing run by slumlords to the home of powerful politicians such as David Cameron. These days, many visitors know the area from the Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant romantic comedy of the same name, where its distinctive white-trimmed rows of houses provide a backdrop for the couple. The neighborhood has a thriving art community and is known locally for the alternative culture found at its restaurants, bars, and shops.  To visit Notting Hill and other attractions in London, use our London trip builder.

  • Clip usually to the region Saturday at Portobello flea market. Around him a lot of vintage clothing, Atelier and antique shops were the first to appear here in the early 19th century and belonged to the potters and swine growers. Gradually the territory of Notting Hill has actively built up, and from the dirty district, he became a prosperous place of residence with lovely homes. If you're a fan of the movie "Notting Hill," you will be interested to visit near the home of the main character live, although the appearance has changed a bit. Find it is not difficult, it is situated at the crossroads of Portobello Road with Ujetborn Park Road is now quiet and decent room area without an insane number of Caribbean and African immigrants of yesteryear.

  • Beautiful neighborhood, with its houses pastel-coloured and very well maintained, the fair of antiques, fruits and much more, is also the blue door and the film library. To spend 2 or 3 hours stirring things and walking the neighborhood
