  • There are few animals, not tidy, donation of 2£/head(not mandatory), but not maintained properly. Admin team should really think of improving to attract the visitors.  more »

  • If you want to escape from the bustling streets of London and see some farm animals for free this is a place for you. This city Farm offers a picnic area so it's nice on a Sunday afternoon. Unfortunat...  more »

  • Love this place, if I ever need somewhere to take the kids, on a quick inexpensive enjoyable day out, this is the place, they have a good range of animals to excite the kids, a picnic area and a play area. They do birthday parties and private booking. Can never go wrong with city farm.
  • Really good place . Specially for kids to learn... love the lama...and sheep's. And it's free.. u can donate if u want... Remember do not feed the animals. . And place looks clean and tidy
  • I took my boys here as a last day out before they go back to school. They were so excited on the way but we all ended up really disappointed. Maybe it was because of the weather but there was barely anything to see, only spent about 15 minutes there before we left (took us 45 just to get there!!) I was also disappointed to see guinea pigs and rabbits being housed together and only straw (no hay!) available. Will not be returning!!
  • Excellent when they hold events but we couldn't see the horses anymore (in July ).
  • Poor Newham city farm is obviously run by a skeleton crew of volunteers doing their level best with almost zero resources. Great place for kids to see some livestock (sheep, pigs, horses) and has a small playground but it really needs some investment and TLC! I hope it gets them.

Where to stay in London

Many of London's main attractions are spread out, so nearby public transportation is key. There is no downtown area as such in London, and some of the least expensive hotels have more convenient access to tourist sites than the costlier ones. For a quintessential London experience, consider staying in the West End. This part of town offers excellent theaters, historical sites, and eating and shopping options for every taste. Lodging won’t be cheap, but you’ll have the colorful variety of London life right at your doorstep. Look at Notting Hill or Chelsea for charming and less expensive boutique hotels and B&Bs.
