  • We went to pick flowers for a special occasion. The choice of flowers from all over the world is just incredible. The place is bit cold for obvious reasons, so take jacket. Prices are quite steep especially for flowers not available everywhere, yet lower than flower shops & departmental stores in local areas. We went there at 6:30am and it was too late. You’ve to go as early as possible as some stores close down - it’s a wholesale market after all. This would now become my go to place for ordering flowers.
  • Some traders sell a great quality produce, others are just the last stop before recycling. Parking is £5 for 3 hours.Lifts are broken. Steps and uneven pavements make it very difficult to use trolley. Dirty toilets. Sellers are supposed to give you a special pass, but many don't and the gatehouse makes a constant fuss even though you present them your dated and stamped receipts. Will definitely try other markets. ((
  • Are you preparing Christmas? You should come here, even if have to wake up early or don't sleep Huge number of Christmas accessories wait for you. Just go, grab and enjoy Christmas atmosphere.
  • This ageing and anomalous mid- seventies working wholesale market is both a throwback to a vanished world (where geodesic design was a byword for modernity) and bustling old-world workplace. Currently enveloped and surrounded by overwhelming 'regeneration', trading wholesale to the fruit, veg, floristry and event industries in the wee-hours until 10am. Interesting, colourful and VERY cheap but a minimal purchase quantity applies.
  • The New location whilst the old market is being redeveloped much brighter and better facilities

Where to stay in London

Many of London's main attractions are spread out, so nearby public transportation is key. There is no downtown area as such in London, and some of the least expensive hotels have more convenient access to tourist sites than the costlier ones. For a quintessential London experience, consider staying in the West End. This part of town offers excellent theaters, historical sites, and eating and shopping options for every taste. Lodging won’t be cheap, but you’ll have the colorful variety of London life right at your doorstep. Look at Notting Hill or Chelsea for charming and less expensive boutique hotels and B&Bs.
