  • We stopped for a look at the column with a statue of Lord Nelson on top of it. Interesting area that is popular with tourists.
  • One of the most important historical monuments of the history of London. Accommodation in Trafalgar Square and its over 51 meters high look around the city centre. Built entirely of granite, this monument represents the greatest hero of England. Overlooking the fountains of the square and the reliefs in bronze are the result of the fusion of French cannons captured. Depict Nelson's victories at Cape St Vincent, the Nile, Copenhagen and Trafalgar. The statue is three times the size and is coated with a gel to protect it from pigeon guano. The four lions that are at the base of the column are the favorite attraction of children, having to climb up on. Is located in the most beloved by Londoners and tourists, could not pass up front and not to notice

  • Right in the middle of Trafalgar Square we find the large column dedicated to Admiral Nelson. The statue of Nelson is 5.5 m high and lies on top of a 46 m high granite column of about 3 m in diameter. The top of the column has a Corinthian capital decorated with acanthus leaves in bronze obtained from the fusion of British cannons. The pedestal is decorated with four panels depicting the four great victories of Nelson obtained by the merger of French cannons captured. To see
