  • Lucky to have this preserved - fascinating history of what a merchant's house would be like, complete with plenty of interesting artefacts and helpful volunteers.
  • A National Trust gem in the heart of London. Wonderful vibe and great staff.
  • Highly recommended for any hackney local. Piece of history and for only a few quid. Also there's an outdoor garden space and cafe. Once done here, we recommend go to the chesham arms.
  • Wonderful Tudor house owned by the National Trust. Entry is 3.90 but you can pop into the cafe for free - they have an adorable 'honesty box' system for paying for the tea / cake. The courtyard is super peaceful, so would be a great place to read and chill - peek round the side of the building to discover a super cool kids playhouse too!
  • Fascinating building that has many stories to tell
