  • Some fascinating bits of memorabilia, but the real reason to go is the shows. A small intimate venue, but host to some top class acts.

  • The venue is pretty cool and has a lot of interesting ties to the history of comedy. The act we saw was just ok though... and the museum looks a bit unfinished.
  • The hardest venue to find and when you do you will be treated to a show in the same conditions as the surface of the sun. Not to mention the chairs were so hard I almost ask the poor man next to me to massage my bum to get the feeling back. Luckily for him I was so concerned that I would faint with the heat and that there was no oxygen in the room my bum was the last of my problems.
  • Nice spot in the crypts of a church. Chairs a bit too close together though. Quite a squeeze!
  • This would be better termed a reading room for the over 50. Great library but you need to already know British comedy to get value. Nice tea. Bit expensive for the museum side. Could do with interpretative materials and some new donations from the comedians. Still, some great reads, so worth a visit.
  • Wonderful little show space. Good for a drink beforehand
