  • We had a great time! The staff were very friendly and helped us out where needed with clues (we were only there in a couple and plus we were probably a bit useless!). Would highly recommend!  more »
  • Never been to an escape room before, and so wasn’t sure what to expect. This was a great experience, so much fun! We did the escapist room and it was great. Highly recommend! Will definitely go back.....  more »
  • The puzzles were so clever and the spooky setting was so immersive. You are thrown into the game right from the start!  more »
  • I had a great time exploring this modern fable. From the first seconds of our arrival we were immersed in the game thanks to the authentic interior and our wonderful game master. The storyline was intriguing: I loved the idea of exploring different parallel universes / possible alternative lives. Although there was a "guideline" to complete the room, the tasks were still challenging and exciting. I think our group of 6 was too big for this challenge: the step to step nature of the story left people waiting around at times, therefore I recommend Hypersomnia for groups of 4. And what was my favourite part? If you're lucky, you can meet with him/her/it ;)
  • The best escape room I’ve been to. Thoroughly enjoyable, and as a whole, it was a fantastic experience. We did The Escapist & was thrilled on how eerie and fun it was. Highly recommend this place!
  • Love these escape rooms! I did the original a couple of years ago and just completed the newest one - Hypersomnia. We went as a couple and had a great day out - there are loads of bars and restaurants and the market to explore before or after. The Escape Room itself was amazing - really engaging and dramatic. The creators have gone to alot of effort to make it as atmopsheric as possible. The set design and props are a cut above and I really loved the range of puzzles. Book it!
  • Our room (The Escapist) was interesting but would have preferred it to be a little harder.
  • Today I was invited with the @Lovepopupslondon community members to @Modernfables new location to try out their current escape room #hypersomina. The room is based on the many dimensions you and your body occupies, but which one is your reality and can you get back? Do you still get flashback of your dreams your memories or are you slowly losing them. Your challenge is to try to find your lost memories by retracing your steps, and working together to solve the various different clues in front of you. As with all escape rooms I can't tell you what goes on in there or clues on how you solve them. However with 7 of us in there I felt that there was definitely enough things for people to do, everyone was able to take a task and use it as a group. I really enjoyed the teamwork element this room echoes. The room itself may look linear but it's not, there are steps but you don't need to do them on order hence everyone can do a different part. What I enjoyed most I think are the different props around, while some rooms are heavy on technology, this is more theme on the props and the story telling which makes the whole thing make more sense. I also enjoyed the way the hints were delivered, really fits into the design of the room. I have experience some rooms where you need to do or achieve something but makes no sense in the game which can only lead to confusion. Of course each room has their red herring and I am sure we too were lead down the wrong path..but isn't that part of the game? I really enjoyed this game and would totally recommend this for a team building event with friend or work. I hear Modern Fables are putting on a new game soon so watch this space. I solid 4 out of 5 stars from me.
