  • This store is like if Apple did chocolate. The design and interior is sleek, clean and minimalist. The bars that they produce and sell are on display on tables and arranged neatly. You can see the chocolate makers and machines working away behind a display glass. They offer you some free samples to try as well! The quality of the chocolate is refined, and they have some nice ones to choose from. Also, their cookies are very gooey and delicious!
  • I'm a poor person with no taste, and obviously no self control. I don't know why I decided to buy a £8 chocolate bar and paid £5 for a hot chocolate. It was was extremely underwhelming. The chocolate is okay, more skewed to rubbish on the spectrum of taste, the skewing factor being the of the price. Nothing life changing or even to indulge in. I've had good chocolate, this is not it. And definitely not worth the amount I paid. Moving on to the hot chocolate: I love hot chocolate, and the guy that made mine made it too sweet! after i said not too sweet! argh! So I tell him it was too sweet and he looks at me and jokingly says you'll know for next time. No, mate. I'm never coming back. I've learned my lesson, when you walk into a store and the prices aren't displayed, you know there is something wrong. Just circle back and get the hell outta there! I am partly to blame, I do stupid things when I am hungry. I saw chocolate and one stupid decision lead to two stupid purchases. So chocolate rant over. I shall move onto the customer service. It was TERRIBLE, the worst I have ever experienced. I returned to the store literally a minute after I left, as I realised the guy didn't give me a receipt. I spoke to a women ,who was the manager, and she said "Oh, he didn't offer you a receipt?" (NO HE DID NOT)* and unapologetically said it was too late. Then proceeded to do nothing, just threw her hands in the air and said she can't do anything. I left in anger and was just too hungry to argue. It was time to get a sandwich from Tesco. *Why is that you have to ask for a receipt these days. When I am making a purchase, of course I want a receipt. And they are not really a cafe, so why are they being stringy on receipts. I really hate this place.
  • Chocolate beer is great. Cookies are the best! Rest of the chocolate has an acquired taste. I love chocolate but struggle with the bitterness of this brand.
  • I'm not overly impressed with their PR machine and how they could have hoodwinked people in their early days. To me their chocolate is highly variable and overpriced. "Pretentious" could be a word used to sum up their brand.
  • Overpriced, not all that tasty and shipped in from New York! Those machines churning away in the back give a false impression that it is made on site in my opinion, extremely dissapointed
