  • Went here to the street food stalls for lunch. There is a great selection of Street food which is very reasonably priced. I went for a Moroccan wrap which was delicious, and took me back to my time in Morocco. Forgot they put chips in it which was a great touch. Must visit if you're in the area and in to that kind of thing!
  • Great during lunch time weekdays. New seating area added at Granby place. It located off the street in a side alley. it's a little tucked away but you should find it if your looking out for it.
  • Really good food at a reasonable price. You'll find almost the same food here as you would a Southbank, but at a lower cost. Stalls vary from day to day, but busiest tends to be Thursday and Friday lunch time. A must visit if you're in the area.
  • One of the best market in London. A place in the heart of Waterloo this market has been around since the mid 19th century. The market has seen a lot of evolution. The market used to sell all kinds of stuff from fresh fish to meat and jewellery but since late 2000 most of the market just sells food from Monday to Friday. On a Saturday the market do tend to change with a different kinds of shop other than foods. If you ever visit Waterloo try and visit the street, there is a lot of things to see and lots of food to choose.
  • Amazing place to go for lunch, great selection of really tasty street food. Make sure to get the falafel wrap from one of the stands - it's the best I've ever had.

Where to stay in London

Many of London's main attractions are spread out, so nearby public transportation is key. There is no downtown area as such in London, and some of the least expensive hotels have more convenient access to tourist sites than the costlier ones. For a quintessential London experience, consider staying in the West End. This part of town offers excellent theaters, historical sites, and eating and shopping options for every taste. Lodging won’t be cheap, but you’ll have the colorful variety of London life right at your doorstep. Look at Notting Hill or Chelsea for charming and less expensive boutique hotels and B&Bs.
