  • Went for 20:20 county match. Had a brilliant time. Great place to take kids. You can take food and two alcoholic drinks per adult
  • There's nothing more fulfilling than visiting the home of Cricket for a cricket Fanatic. The ground tour is amazing and I'm especially grateful to our guides Mr Jayesh Patel and Mr Steve for taking us down the memory lane in a detailed tour of Lords! Truly enjoyed being in St John's Wood London, as it is one of the most elite areas in the downtown!
  • I had a wonderful day out at Lords with my son and two other close friends. The weather was superb, the cricket very entertaining where 19 wickets fell!!!!! culminating in England winning the game against South Africa). The atmosphere was jolly and we all enjoyed the odd glass of bubbly and tasty fare... A thoroughly enjoyable day and one I would recommend to anybody....
  • Lovely ground, staff are excellent and welcoming. Brilliant day out for cricket. Can even take a couple of your own drinks in too which is a nice bonus!
  • Visited on an organised tour. £15 each for seniors. 100 mins. Access to all areas. Long room. Players changing rooms. Committee rooms various stands including the newly refurbished media centre. Brilliant tour guide. So knowledgeable. Ended up at the obligatory shop where there was a good range of clothing and souvenirs. Had booked a table at the Tavern pub for lunch beforehand which was excellent. Had the current test match on!

Where to stay in London

Many of London's main attractions are spread out, so nearby public transportation is key. There is no downtown area as such in London, and some of the least expensive hotels have more convenient access to tourist sites than the costlier ones. For a quintessential London experience, consider staying in the West End. This part of town offers excellent theaters, historical sites, and eating and shopping options for every taste. Lodging won’t be cheap, but you’ll have the colorful variety of London life right at your doorstep. Look at Notting Hill or Chelsea for charming and less expensive boutique hotels and B&Bs.
