Where to stay in London

Many of London's main attractions are spread out, so nearby public transportation is key. There is no downtown area as such in London, and some of the least expensive hotels have more convenient access to tourist sites than the costlier ones. For a quintessential London experience, consider staying in the West End. This part of town offers excellent theaters, historical sites, and eating and shopping options for every taste. Lodging won’t be cheap, but you’ll have the colorful variety of London life right at your doorstep. Look at Notting Hill or Chelsea for charming and less expensive boutique hotels and B&Bs.

  • It is an amazing tour. The guides, staff, all are really helpful. It is very informative as well. The guests are allowed to visit a shop at the end of the tour which has many types of souvenirs like caps, shirts, balls, pens, etc..😊🏏
  • Visiting The Home of Cricket - Lord's Cricket Ground was a dream come true for me. An absolutely fantastic ground, if you are a cricket fan, I would highly recommend that you take a tour here and watch a game here. I visited Lord's on two separate occasions. One was to watch a day's play between Middlesex and Yorkshire. A fantastic experience - comfortable seats. And while the match was interrupted by rain, the grounds staff did an incredible job to ensure that day's play could continue. Staff there is excellent - and they have good variety of beer too to accompany you while you cheer for your favourite team. I took the tour at Lord's too and it was a wonderful experience. I am not going to go into details so you can personally experience this tour. The tour guide was wonderful and it was great to meet other people from my own country, India, as well as from England, Australia, and other places - all with a common passion of cricket. The MCC Cricket Academy nets facilities at Lord's are wonderful - it was a great experience to bowl there. Can't wait to be back at Lord's for the games next year.
