  • One of the better ice rinks still around , plenty of parking which has recently been made chargeable due to the housing development next door which is understandable, it costs £1 which you pay on exit...  more »
  • After pulling a back muscle I had not used Lee Valley for a bit but recently attended for a skating session. Imagine my delight on receiving a hefty eighty pound fine for the privilege of parking for ...  more »

  • Lovely place! Takes you gradually up the professional level. Do get good quality skates beforehand though.
  • Very bad for the environment indeed. But so good to be able to ski on a few slope within a few minutes from Hamburg. It's pricey but they provide all equipment and outfits. The restaurant in there is a chain, be ready for some stereotypical German food (meat feast!), beer and live German singers.
  • A lovely experience. Ice skating was fun and enough time is given to learn the basics of ice skating and if you are a pro enough time is given to make envy everyone else😂. Railings on the side r very helpful especially when walking out of the arena. Music provided also helps with the rhythm.
  • My kids loved it and would want to come back again. It was their first time. Very helpful staff.
  • On the 3rd June 2017 me and my 3 kids came here as one of my birthday persents, before we purchased the Asian Security went up to my daughters and rudely said open your bag. I stepped in and said you don't have to be so rude, as there parent if you want to ask them a question you need to go through me and his reply was that he didn't know there was with a parent. Then he told me if I don't like the way I talks to yours and other kids then don't come back and why am I looking at him. Another Gentalman in the cue overheard heard what he and I both said and he told the security man he was out of order and needs to fix his attitude. The security gaurd said to me and the other man stop talking about him. I have been coming here since 1997 and this is the first time I ever come across this kind of behaviour I'm disgusted and my kids where upset becasue it was one of my birthday surprises. The orinatal gentalman at the till apologised on his behalf and he was so nice but the damaged had been done.

Where to stay in London

Many of London's main attractions are spread out, so nearby public transportation is key. There is no downtown area as such in London, and some of the least expensive hotels have more convenient access to tourist sites than the costlier ones. For a quintessential London experience, consider staying in the West End. This part of town offers excellent theaters, historical sites, and eating and shopping options for every taste. Lodging won’t be cheap, but you’ll have the colorful variety of London life right at your doorstep. Look at Notting Hill or Chelsea for charming and less expensive boutique hotels and B&Bs.
