#34 of 162 in Parks in London
Located at the foot of the majestic Coca-Cola London Eye, Jubilee Gardens is a landscaped park where visitors can relax and take in the riverside views.

Jubilee Gardens underwent a transformation in 2012 to turn it into a soft, green and sustainable park with new flower beds, granite pathways and seating edges, 97 trees and a brand new contemporary playground.

  • Garden and playground near the London Eye. The garden is beautiful and safe playground for children who venture out.

  • Having a playground in a place where children may be starting to get bored after travelling or walking for some time, is a great idea. It is also right by St. Thomas' Hospital which must be useful for...  more »
  • A small park that we, frankly, just realize to climb on the London Eye. But is appealing. Too bad it's next to a tourist spot that attracts all the attention.

  • A beautiful, restful area for London workers and visitors alike. Well planned and maintained and surprisingly quiet given how close it is to the main road. It's easy to spend a few hours here, sitting quietly or examining the rich variety of plants.
  • Lovely little gardens. Well tended and with amazing views of the Thames, the London Eye and the abscond architecture of this area of London. Great adventure playground for under-11's.
  • It is a nice place to sit and have a rest. It has a nice view to london eye. The park has a nice playing area for children as well.
  • Lovely little bits of green spaces. Well kept. Gets very popular and busy at peak times and sunny days. Nice to sit and chill and eat and drink.
  • A lovely place to come and relax with friends or on your own. Great sites to see and lots to do.

Where to stay in London

Many of London's main attractions are spread out, so nearby public transportation is key. There is no downtown area as such in London, and some of the least expensive hotels have more convenient access to tourist sites than the costlier ones. For a quintessential London experience, consider staying in the West End. This part of town offers excellent theaters, historical sites, and eating and shopping options for every taste. Lodging won’t be cheap, but you’ll have the colorful variety of London life right at your doorstep. Look at Notting Hill or Chelsea for charming and less expensive boutique hotels and B&Bs.
