4.2/5 based on 220+ reviews on the web
Home to gorgeous equines and stately guards, Horse Guards Building serves as the perfect spot to soak up some English pomp and royal history. The 17th-century Palladian-style structure marks the formal entrance to St. James' Palace, and only the country's monarch or those with a special pass can drive through its central archway. Stoic guards atop their horses keep watch at the entrance, providing one of London's best photo opportunities. If you're lucky, you may get to see the changing of the guards on the adjoining parade ground. Inside the structure is, appropriately, the Household Cavalry Museum. • The horse guards building stands on Whitehall between Trafalgar Square and Parliament Square in Central London. Right and left two horses and their riders were at the entrance. There is hustle and bustle around the horses around. It is quite amazing how calm the animals. Conclusion: A good photo opportunity.

  • Have you ever seen a real changing of the guard? If not, then you can do so here! You are in luck, you won't even see a soldier and then pass by díszlépésben next to each other, but even the whole squadron in the back. Easily accessible, is not far from the Ministry building and easy access to the Parliament and the "Big Ben" St. Stephen Tower is a loose walk. Here you can also photograph taken in the strázsáló black szőrmesapkás testőrrel. Unique selfie opportunity!

  • Go to see the magnificent buildings and the horse guards. If you time it right you'll see a parade here or at Buckingham Palace five minutes walk away
  • A nice area to look at and offers a good view for the London New Year Fireworks if you can't get a spot along the river
  • If you are in London it is a must see and do! Sometimes there are events on such as the rifles retreat. Keep an eye out on things going on in London. Worth a visit as it is next to everything else! :D
  • Simply a wow moment to watch the horse parade.. the music, fireworks etc were amazing...
  • Besides a horse and funnily dressed men, I'd say put it as a nice to see but not a have to see. But heck, it's so close to everything else. Just see it.
