  • Okay, you can all say what a grumpy arse I am now. I don't get it? It is beautiful in here and I am glad I went the food was interesting and I enjoyed what I bought My Lord- the prices! Everything there is about 4 times the cost you'd pay anywhere else! Just looking at some of the items left me speechless that people were buying with wild abandon. My wife bought two brownies for £5. She never would have done that at home but because they were in a little box she got carried away. It was crowded, very inaccessible, hard to move around. Not sure how you would navigate with any sort of visual impairment or mobility issue because there was no logic in the layout. Pleased I went. Wouldn't go back. Wouldn't recommend it. Don't get it.
  • Plenty of variety on the stalls and a vibrant atmosphere. Plenty of food stalls selling a variety of different things. Lovely to walk around and just browse . Close to Greenwich Park and other London attractions. If you're going from the city centre the boat trip is a must although be aware that queues can be quite long at peak times
  • The offer at the market changes here. Expect hustle and bustle and a really good selection of street food. we bought some amazing quiches there as well which we took home. a point to note is its undercover so you can go when it raining
  • One of the oldest markets in England. Full of rich history and culture. This market is a bustling place every day with both locals and tourists looking around the stalls. Each stall is small and owned by individuals, often items are made there too. There is a vast array of items that can be discovered in this place. It can however, be said that most of these prices are astronomically high. Mostly due to the location being popular with tourists easily parting with their cash.
  • This is usually a great place to visit. We went on Monday, not many stalls. Made some wonderful purchases in a shop selling children's Peruvian made cardigans. Fantastic prices. Definitely going back to that shop. Great find.
