  • One of the most obscure, amazing landmarks of London, the WWII-vintage foot tunnel running under the River Thames. Once the DLR stops running south to Greenwich, this is your fastest way to get south of the River. Open 24/7, with big, 50+ person lifts on either ends of the tunnel.
  • One of the many free things to check out in London, you get to walk under the Thames. The steps are easy, or there's an elevator, an easy walk and you're on the other side of the river. :-)
  • I've to confess that was strange to pass through the tunnel on foot, however was an impressive experience once it's clean, organized and has a lift.
  • Quirky foot tunnel under the Thames. Nice looking glass domed entrance building.
  • Very interesting experience, would recommend anyone visiting London to do it
