  • A must visit. Amazing collection of neon lights all in working order. Great café bar with great music playing in the background. Very nostalgic, and spell binding.
  • About 15 minutes walk from walthamstow central on 1 end of.... Residential walk far. I thought from watching the video seems to be taken here before favorite UK artists wanted to visit. Everywhere full of neon, even though I'm confused even that cute. Just see the neon signs there is also Cafe is nice, but at the back. One of scones and cream tea in the tea was 6 pounds.

  • When we came here we weren't sure if we were on the right track, as the surrounding area isn't nice at all. Situated next to a rundown residential area in an old warehouse buidling is this hidden gem....  read more »
  • An absolutely astounding place that has to be seen to be believed. It is quite simply where neon signs go when they retire. Some are created for art, many are originals created for business, all art amazing and photography heaven. There is a bar inside, so you can drink as you soak up the intensely surreal atmosphere. This is worth every second of the journey to Walthamstow - a must see.
  • I bumped into it shortly after I moved to Walthamstow and was exploring the area. It is a gem off the beaten track. There is a collection of neon lights from all over the world. You can have a coffee inside or in the backyard and the people there are really lovely. You can also buy souvenirs, such as postcards featuring the origin of the lights.
  • The overall effect is equivalent to cramming the best lights of the Las Vegas strip into one industrial unit in Walthamstow, but actually way better than that. In actual fact most are to buy and there are all sorts in there, including many from films, including the Rainbows and Tuxedos signs from Stanley Kubricks 'Eyes Wide Shut' and a set of yellow traffic lights from Gotham City in Tim Burton's Batman. I've never seen anything like it anywhere; totally amazeballs! There is also a small on-site cafe with nice food and drinks and check the website for occasional events.
  • Here's something a little different: a unit on an industrial estate devoted to the art of the neon light. I guess you either love them (like me) or you are completely indifferent to them, and you'll already know which camp you're in. As an added bonus there's a cafe inside, so you can sit down with an espresso and a slice of lemon drizzle cake and relax in the glow of the neon.
  • Really funky place to visit, take some cool photos and have a lovely coffee and a piece of cake!
