  • Foyles is fun, fabulous, faultless. I have never yet gone in wanting any kind of book. however obscure, and failed to find it. Trouble is, I always find about a million more that I also want. The sect...  more »
  • Visit London and not through this bookshop is a shame. Now in new premises, in the same block of old, still undefeated. In its upper floors are found books on almost all subjects. On the top floor a small bar-restaurant with light meals, sandwiches, candies etc. serves well to clients. Great service and nice ultra environment. Unmissable.

  • I just love this shop. It is not just a book shop, it's an experience. Love to go here whenever we are in town and just browse all the latest books. Managed to pick up a couple of books that had been ...  more »

  • One of my favourite bookshops. I can and have happily spent many enjoyablw hours looking for books. I've enjoyed a quick snack and spot of lunch in their cafe area. Which makes a great place to meet friends or take a break from a days shopping.
  • Excellent bookstore with five levels filled with books and an upper level for events. The bookshop is a beautiful one to wander through to see the large selection of books available. There is a large classics section offering many different editions of books which is very nice to see different covers and designs available.
  • Although it's lost some of its personality since it moved it remains probably the best bookshop in the country. Exceptionally comprehensive ranges of books, excellent staff, decent cafe. Ludicrously nice penthouse above it, imagine how expensive living over a bookshop this big would be!
  • One of my favourite bookshops to visit. It has an extremely large collection of non-fiction and a varied assortment of literature. Of particular note is the foreign language department which spans an entire floor. It contains not only books and resources for learning an impressively diverse selection of languages, but also a great many books are available written in these languages as well.
  • Love this bookshop: I still remember the crazy old paper docket system, which survived much much longer than it needed to. Shop is now refurbished and fully in the modern world, yet retains its own style. Heaven for book lovers.
