  • How can you have an entire museum without a single female artist on display? What century are you living in? And how can you present futurism without even mentioning the movement's openly stated misogyny? It's as if the two are perchance related... A pity, because otherwise both permanent and temporary collections were fascinating.
  • A lovely spot for a bit of modern art via Italy and good cafe too!
  • A nice little museum in a converted Georgian house, devoted to italian modern art, including futurist paintings and sculptures. They also have some regular special exhibitions. For instance, I just went to ‘The Years of the Dolce Vita’ featuring great photographs of Hollywood and italian celebrities in Rome during the 1950/60s. The café is also worth a visit on a warm and sunny day with its outdoor seating. They make good coffee, and the italian food is nice and freshly prepared. The downside is that I had to wait about 15 minutes for my gnocchi alla Sorentina because they cooked them from scratch.
  • One of my favourite places in London!
  • The art was a little stuffy, but I enjoyed the book shop.
