  • Great gallery set in gardens next to old almshouses and church. Lovely cafe serving very good food (brilliant cakes!)  more »
  • Visited in Feb 17 having previously been put off as not directly on a tube stop. Actually very easy to catch the bus from opposite Briston tube and in 15 minutes it stops directly outside the gallery....  more »

  • Joined the gallery for a couple of exhibitions we wanted to see. Downside of the place is difficult to get to. Not in central London have to catch overground train to get there from Victoria. (Cost included in rail card though) Finally a 15 minute walk to the gallery. Gallery well laid out, with informative information. Several food options available. Snacks and also a restaurant which serves lunch time meals. Reasonable value and quality.
  • This small but important historic gallery designed by the redoubtable John Soane stages frequent exhibitions. The permanent collection includes works by Rembrandt and Watteau. The modern cafe set in the pleasant gardens draws an equally large if not more enthusiastic crowd. Adds up to a worthwhile outing.
  • Beautiful gardens to sit & relax. Excellent menu choices, recommend the Cream Tea.
  • Excellent place to visit on a sunny afternoon, the outdoor seating and cafe are great.
  • A very good, small art gallery in Dulwich. They have a great line up of temporary exhibitions - check out their website for details.
