  • A great playground! We travel quite frequently with our 8 year old son. We are always on the lookout for good playgrounds. This one had some interesting things to do. Some music stops, a bug pirate sh...  more »
  • Nice place with a pirate ship and a mast to which the children can climb to the top. Attention closing at 4:45 p.m. in the winter. Possibility to buy to eat and welcome hot drinks for the parents.

  • Next to Kensington Palace, we approached the playground gates and someone buzzed us in. The entire playground is gated so we felt safe to let the kids loose and explore. They started at the swings, pi...  more »

  • Good play equipment. Sound and Sensory garden bi's too (including an amazing granite tuning fork type contraption). Pirate ship was a bit busy, but elsewhere there was plenty of space.
  • Absolutely wonderful park! We went just after 3pm on a Saturday and it was packed. We had to queue for around 10mins but once inside you could stay for as long as you like. There was a wonderful pirate ship, sand area, teepee/wigwams and a lovely paddling section. Because of the number of people on that day there was not much room for adults to sit but the all of the children didn’t seem to mind. The supervisors had made sure that they capped the number of people coming in, so that the children had enough room for fun! I saw two occasions when children couldn’t find their adult and the staff team were excellent. They used radios and worked with parents to quickly and effectively find the missing person. There were facilities for changing if children got wet and a window at the takeaway cafe including ice creams and pizzas. The whole place was clean and tidy and most important very kid friendly! Would recommend to everyone!
  • Good playground, but I would appreciate a bit bigger selection of child activities. Also, it could be extremely crowdy if the weather is good. Nearby cafe has very limited food options.
  • Great playground. Big and lots of different activities for kids of different age available. Lots of ground space for picnic etc. Whilst kids are busy playing. Can be quite busy as. It's very popular place especially in hot days but staff are very helpful and close entrance of it becomes over crowded. You may therefore need to wait a bit to enter. Depending on your luck. If there s one facility I don't recommend it's the soo called "truly Italian" coffee and ice cream stall next to the entrance. Utterly disappointing. The worst milkshake I've ever had. Lousy coffee and poorly served ice-cream with staff with wrong attitude... That's topped up by huuuuge queue to actually get something that you won't enjoy. But playground itself is a great place!
  • Nice play area. Has a giant pirate ship surrounded by sand for kids to play on. Behind that is (or was I haven't been there in a good 6 years) a bark area with a climbing frame and a circle swing. There is also a cafe by the entrance of the playground, the toilets are also near by and have far more cubicles than most park toilets have and are also a lot cleaner and well kept than more park toilets. There is also a Merry Go Round (or was like I said I haven't been here in like 6 years) placed outside the entrance of the playground *inserts pictures of me on it when I was like 8*
