  • This is a great place for young kids below 8. However the place is let down by some staff members. For being free, its worth a visit. Good points: - Its free of charge to visit the farm - Pony rides a...  more »
  • Nice little farm, when I visited back in December one of their rare Oxford Sandy and Black sows had just had just farrowed, so it was nice to see some piglets. Deen City Farm keep this type of pig as ...  more »
  • One of the better city farms in London. A great place to introduce local kids to animals. The Facebook page is active and invites locals to share in the farm's news.  more »

  • Lovely little farm, not many animals there, but good place to take very young children. There is a petting corner, snack shop and children's play ground. Good place to go to spend a couple of hours.
  • Great place. Obviously not a real farm but enough animals to keep a small child entertained. Good play area for little kids too. Shame the cafe doesn't open on Saturday but otherwise a very enjoyable visit. Car park isn't too big but its free if you get there early you'll bag a spot. Awesome that the farm is free so don't forget to donate!
  • Nice little city farm. Pony rides Wednesday & weekends much loved by small children. Clean facilities, though sometimes muddy floors. Café and playground decent. Free to go round, though it is a charity so donations much appreciated.
  • Great place for kids, especially toddlers. A lot of different animals, also most of them can be touched. Clean toilets, baby changing facilities. Good coffee and play area available too. Highly recommend
  • A free farm that children all enjoy. Often they have handling sessions with the smaller animals, which are sometimes a small cost. There is a play area and picnic area there. You can buy pellets to feed the goats.... Be warned as they love to snatch the bags from little kids hands... They also have pony rides and horse rides (depending on age) at an extra cost nearby. Check days and times of this.

Where to stay in London

Many of London's main attractions are spread out, so nearby public transportation is key. There is no downtown area as such in London, and some of the least expensive hotels have more convenient access to tourist sites than the costlier ones. For a quintessential London experience, consider staying in the West End. This part of town offers excellent theaters, historical sites, and eating and shopping options for every taste. Lodging won’t be cheap, but you’ll have the colorful variety of London life right at your doorstep. Look at Notting Hill or Chelsea for charming and less expensive boutique hotels and B&Bs.
