Where to stay in London

Many of London's main attractions are spread out, so nearby public transportation is key. There is no downtown area as such in London, and some of the least expensive hotels have more convenient access to tourist sites than the costlier ones. For a quintessential London experience, consider staying in the West End. This part of town offers excellent theaters, historical sites, and eating and shopping options for every taste. Lodging won’t be cheap, but you’ll have the colorful variety of London life right at your doorstep. Look at Notting Hill or Chelsea for charming and less expensive boutique hotels and B&Bs.

  • it was a nice farm, but a bit dirty which is understandable for being a farm. you can do pony riding and help feed the animals. the play ground area was not the biggest but still ok. parking is bad  more »
  • what a pleasant surprise - a beautiful city farm in the middle of so much built up stuff. really well laid out, with a range of birds and animals, plus a kiddie play area, and horse riding facilities....  more »

  • Great place for kids, especially toddlers. A lot of different animals, also most of them can be touched. Clean toilets, baby changing facilities. Good coffee and play area available too. Highly recommend
  • A free farm that children all enjoy. Often they have handling sessions with the smaller animals, which are sometimes a small cost. There is a play area and picnic area there. You can buy pellets to feed the goats.... Be warned as they love to snatch the bags from little kids hands... They also have pony rides and horse rides (depending on age) at an extra cost nearby. Check days and times of this.
  • A lovely farm to visit, great fun for adults and children. Has a lovely variety of animals that you can feed and stroke. Nice cafe that is reasonable pricing. Free entry too!
  • Always worth a visit if you're in the area. Children love it, most adults too including me. Entry is free. Can be messy and untidy but it is a working farm. Nice cafe, clean toilets and has the essential hand washing stations which all visitors are strongly encouraged to use before departure and before eating or drinking. Wellies advised if you wish to visit the large paddocks out back as the whole site is on marshy land.
  • Just a lovely place to go with children or by yourself. Very relaxing a great cafe to get some light refreshments
