Went here to celebrate a relative's qualification. We all had steak and did not regret our choice! Cooked perfectly and tasted great. They do a mean martini as well. Staff really friendly and helpful.
I always walk away with something yummy to eat and love looking at the craft shops. It's not a Saturday morning without checking out this local market. Lady that sells the falafel wrap gets an A* - yu... read more »
I don't think I've been to another place where they messed up my order and left satisfied but that's what happened at the Crystal Palace Market. The order was delayed significantly but the mistake was immediately recognised by the staff. Other than that the fish was fresh, well cooked, tasty and the portions the right size. The dessert was OK, not thrilled but definitely not disappointed. A very nice experience overall. Five stars to the staff, true professionals. Will be definitely going back to try the steaks.
Very nice choice of excellent food and outstanding customer service. Open kitchen. Fish market. Had a lovely time in a relaxed and cozy atmosphere.
Lovely interior however there is a strong fish smell as you walk in. Portion sizes were okay however you are not given the lunchtime menu (2 courses for £15) and it is only available upon request so it's easy to miss this opportunity. Staff compensated for long waiting service by putting drinks on the house which was nice.
Only went in for drinks a few weeks ago. Was so impressed i shall be dining Saturday night with a bunch of my girlfriends to celebrate my forthcoming birthday ☺
I've eaten here twice now and both times the food was excellent and the vibe of the place pretty chilled and atmospheric. It's beautifully decorated and the menu reads well, so overall I'd recommend it although prices are a little on the steep side and the service is, as one of the previous reviewers aptly put it, somewhat "sketchy" at times. A great place for a celebration such as birthday party. Definitely worth booking in advance as it can get full, and even order in advance as they run out of certain dishes, which I guess is understandable when your menu consists largely of market fresh fish and crustaceans.
