  • I was never aware of this park till today.Probably good for kids to play in just off the Grays Inn Road.  more »
  • ten-year-old grandson had a great time here for an hour or so ~ it's an excellent playpark with lots of space for running about or picnicking as well as the usual climbing, swinging, exploring paraphe...  more »
  • After visiting the British Museum we brought 4 children aged 5 to 11 years playing in this park fairly close to Russell Square. and we couldn't get them out. There is a huge slide in "pipe" that turns on itself, and a rope bridge for two-type "Adventure Park"-where you sit on the seat and he slides down the rope to the ends of the path. There is also a large percussion music game, and other classic games like the swings. The Park is large and well fenced, the gate at the entrance is heavy and for children it is impossible to go out alone.

  • Excellent place for children and young people, there are very engaging outdoor and indoor facilities for all ages from a giant swirly slide through musical instruments to water play area. Indoors there is soft play area and a fully equipped play room for toddlers. Cafe has good choice of Italian/British food and award winning ice cream! There is only one entrance/exit, so it`s very safe. Plus football pitches and tennis courts. All free to use. Must visit if you have a child.
  • Lovely place to take younger children & one of the only such places in the local area; no adults without children can enter the fields. There are plenty of things for kids to do, from petting the animals, to splashing about in the somewhat untended paddling pool, to trying the zip-line. There's even a small cafe for ice cream and coffee. If you're near Bloomsbury & looking for a spot for younger children that is designed for them & welcomes them, you should pop in.
  • Needed somewhere close to King's Cross Station for kids to do before boarding train home - this was incredible! Great wide open space for them to run around, lots to do and a café in one corner of the site as well. Would recommend suitable footwear as play areas mostly covered in woodchip or sand. All in all a great time spent here.
  • Love this park use to take my oldest boy now back here again. With. Our new addtion love Kathy at the soft play too
  • This place was a real missed opportunity. So much brilliant play equipment and a lovely setting but badly in need of maintainance and brightening up. The animals were hiding in the back of sheds which all looked very accidental. It was disappointing. Sadly we visited on a very grey day which didn't help. I can see its potential and for older children it would be wonderful as they have so many different pieces of play equipment. I really look forward to returning here when it's had a little attention. Since its a charity, if gladly donate and would urge others to in order to refresh such a wonderful resource in the centre of London. Loved the fact that unaccompanied adults are not allowed. It's very much a children's space. Also loved the home made cakes at the cafe.

Where to stay in London

Many of London's main attractions are spread out, so nearby public transportation is key. There is no downtown area as such in London, and some of the least expensive hotels have more convenient access to tourist sites than the costlier ones. For a quintessential London experience, consider staying in the West End. This part of town offers excellent theaters, historical sites, and eating and shopping options for every taste. Lodging won’t be cheap, but you’ll have the colorful variety of London life right at your doorstep. Look at Notting Hill or Chelsea for charming and less expensive boutique hotels and B&Bs.
